Critical Mass is Hiring a Project Manager Near Bogotá, DC

The Project Manager (PM) reports to a Program Manager. Works closely with Directors and Subject Matter Experts, designers, developers and quality to ensure flawless project execution, efficient resource allocation, project financial sanity and client satisfaction. The PM supports grows project delivery discipline and helps to develop processes, documentation, standardization and tools. The PM is a key player on building high-energy, multi-disciplinary teams. The PM is interested, invested and passionate about the industry, the clients we serve, and the work produced.

You will:

  • Be responsible for immediate supervision project delivery including scope, resource, risk, financial and time management.
  • Monitor the daily activities of the projects assigned.
  • Work on issues of limited to moderate scope.
  • Receive predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
  • Follow established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
  • Have moderate knowledge of own area of functional responsibility.
  • Follow practices which ensure there are no delays in schedules, deadlines, outcomes.
  • Understand and apply the Agile values and principles.
  • Raise flags to its Program Manager on needs and opportunities for improvement of Agile practice.
  • Follow Agile governance approaches - such as ticket descriptions, metrics, dashboards and reporting.
  • Manage projects and resources in charge.
  • Understand project delivery phases and manage them with minimal supervision ( initiation, planning, definition, design, implementation/development, testing and deployment cycles).
  • Drive weekly releases for vertical and/or horizontal; review and prioritization of work and resource planning.
  • Coordinate with Development and QA teams and communicate with all impacted Stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Ensure all projects stay in scope and on schedule and inform the Program Manager if anything risk is identified (even with low probability or impact).
  • Partner with our AP team to drive cohesion around the customer experience and partner retention.
  • Support Agency Partnership Director and New Business Development team to engage and prospect clients.
  • Follow standards and support the overall success of this group within the organization.
  • Identify areas for improvement in process and present them to Program Manager.
  • Adhere to and advise on the company wide operating metric targets with the Program Manager.
  • Ensure teams are developing and executing against detailed project plans, including overall budget allocations, schedule roll-ups of all projects, critical path and risk assessment.
  • Follow process and documentation standards with the end goal of top-efficiency and quality.
  • Work with Program Manager to align appropriate team members against suitable assignments, considering business needs and individual skills.
  • Evaluate and promote teamwork, initiative, work ethic, values adherence and reports findings to discipline leads.
  • Ensure effective communication and promote a sense of participation and involvement.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, business, or related field; many obtain master's degree or post-bachelor's certificate and professional credentials or equivalent strong experience as Project Manager in exact areas of expertise required for Hangar (Digital Agencies projects, Web development project, SCRUM/Agile Software projects).
  • 3 years of experience managing a variety of digital project types; site builds, ecommerce, marketing campaigns, microsites, maintenance.
  • 3 experience in project finance, pipeline planning, forecasting, road mapping and leadership.
  • 3 experience in resource management for projects including balancing priorities, timelines
  • Proven ability to work on small and medium scale digital projects.
  • Proven ability to follow processes to ensure high-quality deliverables for the client.
  • Proven acumen negotiation skills and proven ability to interact with Senior-level employees.
  • Presents him/herself/themself in a polished, professional way. Very high degree of personal professionalism.
